I have been seen by every doctor in the abdominal / Liver Clinic either before, during, or after my liver transplant in Nov 2016. They are the best ANYWHERE. You can go other places, but you can't find better. I was MELD score 40 and on dialysis, at the last minute they finally found a new liver. Quality medical care with caring staff.
I love the doctors and their medical care...would walk on burning coals for my doctors. BUT THE MY CHART SYSTEM HAS BEEN UPGRADED AND IS TOTAL NIGHTMARE. Still has data out of date from years ago. But erased my allergy and much of drug information in update process. Because of disorders...could lead to mistakes that might kill me. It scares me. I did not authorize changes. I changed dr.'s cause never did anything but ask questions. I'm diabetic & she never ck'd my feet, or anything else for that matter.
Since I have a chronic health problem I have had to be admitted to Baylor St. Luke’s in the Med Center several times in the past 18months and only go because its the only hosp my specialist is affiliated with! My last admission I had Dr. Rekha Neela (a hospitalist) I was assigned to. I was to have surgery one day and 2 hrs before she has my nurse tell me she is discharging me right after.
