The best thing this place has going for itself is its location… the view is so-so but the walking convenience is great. Beyond that, it’s probably the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. When we booked our room, we paid a higher rate for a deluxe king room. Upon checking in, no one bothered to tell us they had double booked that room, so we wound up in a standard queen instead. Not bad for a small little motel.
Great location at the north end of the Embarcadero. The view was great of the rock. The room was okay. It was very small but fine for 2 people. No drawers or any place to put your clothes down had to keep them in our suitcases. Two small chairs we kinda balanced 1 suitcase on. There was a coat rack. Very friendly person at front desk but it can be a challenge to get to him at times. We were there 3rd through 5 th if July. Galley room were ice was was often closed in evenings. This is a great little spot in a great little town and a section perfect for walking to shops sites and restaurants. It was a great value, clean, and perfect for one person traveling alone
