Stayed there for several nights, and I would return in a heartbeat. Kind and friendly staff, within walking distance of anything you could want, and the entire property had charm to spare. Rooms are small (or I suppose cozy) but it is worth it, especially at this price. We had a fantastic time!
Please avoid this hotel for your own safety. During my stay, I wasn’t allowed back into my room at 8 a.m. because the owner didn’t recognize me. He then tried to extort more money from me over a pet fee I had already paid and refused to let me retrieve my belongings. Once he realized his mistake, he offered no apology and initially refused to refund my second night. Later, he walked past my window, leaned inside, and accused me of stealing a missing smoke alarm—something I had previously pointed out to him for safety reasons... read more
Lage sensationell. Zimmer sehr klein, zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Bad in die Jahre gekommen, hätte dringend Renovierung inkl. gründliche Reinigung nötig. Kaffee super lecker. Waren 16 Uhr vor Ort, leider kein Ansprechpartner mehr da. Zettel am Büro informierte über Zimmer, wo auch der Schlüssel lag. Auch morgens keiner da, als wir um 8 Uhr abreisten 🥹

The location/view of Morro Rock bumps this review up to 3 stars, otherwise it wasn’t very great. We booked a Standard King room. The room was basically the size of the bed, which isn’t a problem if your goal is mainly to explore the area. It was not the cleanest. The bed itself - tho big & seemed new-ish - was just okay in terms of comfort and unfortunately had dog/cat hair all in the sheets. I woke up once with a doghair in my mouth!
