My nurse Chris was great, very professional and also made me feel comfortable, however I did not feel that the Dr understood my need for being in the ER. She said “what do you want me to about it, see your GI Dr.” I told her it was 6 weeks away but she talked to me as if I wasn’t having trouble swallowing and epigastric pain. I felt she was cold and aloof. Perhaps she was overworked or tired, but she was not empathetic.
