I did not have a good experience with Cecilia Carag MD at all. The worst provider I’ve ever encountered and almost never went back to Baycare. I was so upset, but I heard she left and decided to give this place another chance and had an appointment with Melissa C. Moyers, APRN. Thank goodness I gave this place another chance. She is a great provider and listens to you and your concerns. I highly recommend seeing her if you are looking in the area for a new PCP! She truly cares about her patients.
Mr. Ortiz is the most dismissive, gaslighting medical professional I've ever encountered. Told me that multiple of my diagnosed health problems were "just anxiety". Wonder if he would have said that if I were a man? I think not. Stay away if you're a woman who wants to be listened to.
The office staff is very kind and took me right back. The doctor herself is very kind but unfortunately, I think she lacks knowledge. I went specifically for an annual check up and to be referred to a urologist and to restart hormone therapy. I did my lab work and my estrogen did come back quite low but the nurse practitioner is saying it’s normal for my age so she doesn’t want to do anything about it.
