The new ownership has really raised the bar in Chesapeake city. Friendly staff,fast service and great food. This is certainly worth checking out when you are in town . You cant beat the view!

Excellent food, small menu but specialized, the food is very tasty, because of this. I reccomend the Anaheim Chile stuffed with crab. shrimp, my wifes filet could be cut with a fork tender and seasoned and cooked to perfection.. Cozy atmosphere

Absolutely an excellent meal from crab soup, entrees and delicious desserts! The Marins are doing a terrific job and the chef is top notch ! Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone!
The Bayard House is always a wonderful place to have dinner with good food and a beautiful view of the C&D Canal.
By far one of the most beautiful plates I have ever had. The whole package from building to staff, atmosphere, to food and friendly staff. We came for my mom’s 60th Birthday. Hands down AMAZING! We will most definitely be back and highly recommend The Bayard House! Great renovations to this old faithful! A must come too for couples date nite or family affair.
