I expected taking a 3 year old to the dentist to be a horrible experience but it was really AWESOME. Everyone in the office, especially Jeannie, was very nice and put us both at ease. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
How many kids love the DENTIST? Mine do and I love going too. It's like visiting friends. All the staff care so much and truely love ALL my children. The hygienist are careful and kind and gently explain what's going on during the check-up and how to better care for their teeth. My three year old told her father "they painted my teeth daddy and I can't brush because I'm waiting for the paint to dry". Dr. Ben's cool too and keeps things upbeat. My daughters and I fully enjoyed our experience this was the best dental visit my youngest has ever had.
I appreciate not having to wait but instead getting in at my actual appt time.

You always hear horror stories from other moms taking their kids to the dentist. Not mine! Upstate pediatric dentistry was so kid friendly not to mention it helps to have a tv with cartoons on for your child to watch while the dentist is doing his job...great deterent! On our way home he said mommy can we get one of those tooth brushes like they have that tickle my teeth...I thoiught that was great! Thanks UPD!
The themed office decorations provide a wonderful distraction for both myself and my anxious 7 yr old. Each Staff member was very pleasant, and more importantly, each was extremely patient with my child.
My daughter was very nervous about the visit. Everyone from the receptionist to Dr. Jones was extremely patient and friendly. They made the experience as painfree and enjoyable as possible! Thank you!
