As a caregiver for Bayada I am underpaid. I have no health insurance. I have no PTO or or sick days. I love what I do and I'm very good at it. I have asked for more hours repeatedly.
Due to a combination of physically challenging medical issue and post hospitalization and rehab facility stays we found ourselves in need of respite care inclusive of physical therapy, occupational therapy and skilled nursing care. Bayada caretakers are so helpful and want to help. When in a weakened condition they remove anxiety and fear. The staff on the phone are leaders and answer all needs.
