RecommendedBay State Pet & Garden literally saved my dog's life last week. She is elderly and stopped eating, and by Sunday could barely lift up her head. Sunday afternoon I went to Bay State to get her some new food, in total despair about what to do. Their great folks talked me through what might be going on, made some recommendations, gave me some free samples, and five days later she's in a totally different place - wagging her tail, greeting everyone who comes in the house - total turnaround! RecommendedMy boyfriend and I came here for the first time last night to get shavings for our chicken coop. Unfortunately I arrived just as they were closing. There was a employee (I'm embarrassed for not getting his name) who was walking out of the store as we were about to leave. He said they were closing but asked how he could help. Long story short, this nice man not only sold us 3 bags of shavings, but helped us carry them into the car. He was extremely kind and went above and beyond his call of duty.
