I needed an emergency appointment, and was I thrilled that I was able to get in almost immediately. From the minute I walked in, I felt calmer. Everyone on staff is kind, thoughtful,patient. Dr. Hsin was amazing. I felt relaxed and it was easy to explain my complicated situation. She listened carefully to try not to rush into a procedure that I might not need. She listened AGAIn and tested out some options. I was in very competent hands and will definitely recommend this office to others.

Root canal was a relatively pain free experience and would highly recommend Dr. Hsin
I went to see Dr. Hsin for a root canal diagnosis and repair. Unfortunately the experience I had was painful and sore for days to follow. First, she could not numb my tooth. I had more rounds of needles jammed into my jaw than I care to remember. To top the entire painful procedure, she was going to send me home after all those injections, and "try again another day". After I insisted she did it and then argued with me to NOT give me an antibiotic. I never went back and its fixed.

We are so sorry your experience was not a positive one. A tooth with a very inflamed nerve tissue is called a " hot tooth" and is more difficult to anesthetize. To ensure a better patient experience, we try to avoid performing treatment if the tooth cannot be numbed and instead prescribe medications to reduce inflammation and successfully numb at the next appointment. Unnecessarily prescribing antibiotics can lead to bacterial resistance. Antibiotics are only needed when infection is present.
