Had a crown removed, root canal done and a new permanent crown made and fitted and put in the same visit, about 2 1/2 hours. The staff and Dr. Caven did a great job on something I was dreading.H.V.B.
My visit went extremely well. I have not been to a dentist in many years and there was no judgement. The attitude toward me was "You are here now, let's get you your mouth healthy." That in itself took my anxiety level to nothing. Dr. Caven and Margaret were thorough about everything. I don't think I would have ever said I am looking forward to my next dentist visit, but I am! :)
I am not fond of going to the dentist and I especially hate getting dental work done, but Dr. Caven and his staff make it bearable! I had fillings done a few days ago and Dr. Caven could tell I was nervous, so he and his assistant were very calm and reassuring. He was happy to give me extra Novacaine when I let him know I could still feel what he was doing even a little bit.
