I went to see Dr. at John Muir and my doctor ordered some X-ray for the bone density, my lower back and mammogram in different times respectively. When I received the invoice, I called them to pay and found out there was additional charges from Mammogram. I asked why I got charged for mammogram which is the preventive lab service and they said that the lab service is free but the reading is the extra charge. They deserve 0 stars! This place is HORRIBLE! They asked for my DPOA for healthcare and then started billing ME for my father’s acct! I explained I am not his guarantor and they said I was because of the DPOA for healthcare. They don’t know the difference between a DPOA for healthcare and one for finance. Then they say he owes one thing and then the web site says something else. He paid a bill, then I received a refund check made out to me and then they sent him another bill!!!! I called about bereavement forgiveness. I was told to mail in a physical copy of the death certificate and call back 45 days later to see if it was processed. (Spoiler alert: it was not). 45 days later, they've never heard of me and the account is sent to collections. I'm given a fax number to send the death certificate to, as there is no email option. I find a fax app (who has a fax machine anymore???). 2 fax attempts fail. I find another fax app, which fails and says "no fax tone detected." I call back, am told the rep doe... read more
