While the food was good I really wish the wait staff would tell you about an upcharge. I got the Hamburg steak and I noticed they did not mention onion. I asked if I could get a few onions on it and was told sure. When I was given an entire side dish of onions I figured I would be charged but I didn't realize it would cost 2.49. On Sunday I bought a 3 lb bag of onions for 2.99. Talk about getting ripped off!.
Never been here so wanted to try it.Started out with the seafood nachos. Huge serving for an ap but rather bland and lackluster. Also ordered the you peel shrimp. Extremely disappointed in them. Way over cooked and lacking flavor. Our meals though were pretty good. At least the crab cakes had a nice flavor. Service could have been better. This seems to be the kind of place that you need to be a regular to really reap the benefits. Probably won't go back.
Just had an event there . Food and wait service excellent. Event manager not so much. She lost contract paperwork and then acted like it was our fault. Was not very pleasant to photographer who was there to take group photo.
Excellent like always, Spinach Salad, hot bacon dressing Dozen steamed oysters, Alaskan Snow Crab cluster, crab cake, & baked potato
50th Class Reunion DCHS! Food was very good. Staff was very tolerant of all the picture taking and visiting.
