I’ve never walked into a pcp office and felt like I am inconveniencing them. But now I have! The physicians are knowledgeable but seem overworked and unable to respond to patient calls within a reasonable time frame. The front office staff seem unable to communicate with the back office medical assistants. The medical assistants get offended consistently and exhibit no ability to empathize with patients. Old, outdated, disgusting office that hasnt been updated since the 90s. Apparently because one of the DRs left the practice, I am no longer a patient to them and do not exsist. Dr left because of the corporate bullshit, atleast he warned me before going. Had issues in the past where the clinical notes THEY entered were WRONG & was blamed on me???? Place is a joke, would never recommend bay care to anyone. Can't even call the direct office you get transferred to someone in a call center who cant help either. Also massive laws... read more
They let me schedule an appointment on their website and said they’d accept my insurance but when I showed up they denied my coverage
The technician didn't know how to use the EKG machine. A blood test was ordered that was not medically necessary, so my insurance.would not pay. Needed to refill my blood pressure medication it took over 21 days to have this medicine refilled, thanks to the staff. I had to use a Bay Care Urgent Care Center in Clearwater. There I was given an injection and a pill. Sad part is when I went to this Dr office, my Dr didn't know anything about this incident. I am so glad that I have left this practice.
