I had an extremely concerning experience at Bay Area Orthopedic Specialists. Patient safety does not appear to be a priority here. While in the office, I was exposed to an environment where I felt directly threatened by another patient, and instead of taking my concerns seriously, the staff acted unprofessionally and dismissively. Beware when visiting this office. I had some knee pain that I wanted to get checked on and before you can even visit with a nurse or doctor to have an exam, they automatically take you to get X-rays. They said they wanted to take scans on both knees to “compare them”. It was not reasonable in my case to scan both knees so I requested only the one that was causing pain.
