I tried to take my 22 year old daughter and 14 year old niece for a short dip there on Wednesday. I was fully prepared to pay 30 dollars for the privilege even though I knew we would only stay an hour. I figured I'd have a drink and just let the kids have some exercise. The pool was empty so I figured we were in luck! Instead, I was told that they were "all booked up for the weekend" and that there were no more passes available. Really? Bavarian Inn This is my most favorite place in the area to go for a wonderful relaxing meal. To be able to add the stay over in the awesome rooms overlooking the river is a bonus.
Great Inn and Food too The Bavarian Inn and Lodge in Shepherdstown West Virginia is absolutely beautiful. It's like something out of the lifestyles of the rich and famous. The rooms are divine. Some even have fireplaces in them and most have balconies with great views. The staff is nothing short of excellent. Helpful in every way.
