June 2017 I paid a heavy price (over $900) for Tom Bauman and his apprentice to fumble around in a lightly wooded area for a couple of hours waving around a metal detector looking for existing markers. This year ( less than 12 months later) it takes 2 months for him to get back to me for more work then I believe intentionally priced himself out (almost $1900) as to have completely wasted 3 months that I could've been utilizing a properly surveyed piece of property. I have used Baumann Land Survey on 2 several occasions and highly recommend them! I would take any negative reviews or comments about Tom and his company with a MOUNTAIN of salt. One of the projects that I hired them for was to measure a sculpture for a Guinness Book of World Records attempt. Tom (the owner) and Jason (the Surveyor) were both extremely professional from beginning to end.
