I bought a 05 Chevy Equinox a little over a year ago. Yesterday I went in to have some repairs done to my CV axle. The mechanic was unable to do the repairs because the sub frame was soooo rusted out that it cant be repaired and I was told it is unsafe for road use, and my best bet is to just total it. Baumann auto group basically sold me a death trap, for a few thousand dollars, and I am right back where I started with no vehicle. If you ever hear of a “buyer beware” situation, this is it. Save your money, don’t shop here.

Took my Chrysler to Baumann as there was a noise in the dash. I even had audio. Kept it all day, told me nothing wrong and that 2 other vehicles on the lot made that same noise! They hooked it up to electronic check, nothing showed up and they went no further. Took to another Chrysler dealer, they listened to me, found the problem and replaced the air recirculating door! Short story long,I’m from Ashtabula county. I’m out here working for a few weeks. I started having steering issues with 2012 ram. Called Baumann’s not knowing anything about them. Steve got my truck in on Tuesday morning and had it finished Thursday morning. He kept me posted on what was going on through out the days. They got me in and out quickly as I’m suppose to go home Saturday. Excellent work and excellent people. I can’t thank you enough.
