Imagine, an equine Veterinarian who not only supports but finances animal cruelty. A financial supporter of the Big Lick. I wonder if they own and show TWH. Hence the conflict of interest. You took an oath to help animals, not finance cruelty.
Dr. Baum - How could you do this to your beautiful horses? God knows. This is torture and truly evil. Please stop. The Big Lick needs to go and be a horrible thing of the past.

wow. In my wildest dreams I would have never imagined that a person who has dedicated years to helping animals would actually participate in an activity that promotes pain and suffering to animals! I am completely appalled and disgusted. You can be sure that any of my friends or family in the Shelbyville area will be directed to take their animals elsewhere for business. Dr. Baum, take note of the changes to the Vetrinarian's oath: I solemnly swear to use my scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society through the protection of animal health and welfare, the prevention and relief of animal suffering, the conservation of animal resources, the promotion of public health, and the advancement of medical knowledge.
