Extremely, poor appraising. I would recommend using anyone but Bruce. They do not look at quality comps, and will not consider better comps provided. They have an poor knowledge of the Muskegon area. Very unprofessional all around
Very disappointed in the appraisal we had received. When adding up all his comps and then dividing the average was 140K so we got 135k for an appraisal. Very disappointed glad the mortgage company paid for this
I just met with Bruce Baty about an appraisal for my house to fight my new assessment from the township. After taking pictures and tour of the house he asked to see my tax assessment form from the township. I was apprehensive about showing it to him because I didn't want it to taint his appraisal. After he looked at it he told me that the important number was the taxable value and that given the two houses on my street that sold recently my taxable value was still under one half of the market value of my home.
