My concerns about my pituitary gland were not addressed and she failed to pull labs for my concerns that I had sent her about. Even though clinical evidence that is well documented and labs indicated a possible issue with my pituitary gland. This doctor blamed everything on perimenopause even though my labs do not support her theory. I do not recommend her at all and will not return to her. I will be filling a formal complaint.
I had RAI. Treatment in 2014 due to T3 toxicosis. I’m having a LOT of side affects. I’m sick of her asst telling me every visit “your numbers are fine, must be an underlying condition”. My last visit I complained about my hair falling out. She told me my numbers are fine, must be an underlying condition. It’s not. It’s all related to my hypoactive thyroid. Dr. Valika is literally the best doctor I have ever had (I've had too many to count). She is the only doctor I feel 100% confident in and trust. I started my pregnancy with an A1C of 6.7 and have finally gotten it down to a 5.5 with her help. She sends me a message every week to adjust my insulin levels and is quick to respond to every message I send when I have questions or concerns. I will always choose Dr. Valika first for all of my diabetes needs (when I am able to have her for my provider).
Dr. Valika has helped me get my thyroid in check and keep it monitored very closely over the past couple of years. I was having troubles with pregnancies until she was able to make some changes. Now I have a healthy baby with another on the way. She genuinely cares and her staff stays on top of things as well. Very happy I found her!
Poor communication and irresponsible!!! Not able to reach the doctor or their office to correct the mistake they did in putting a lab order. I had the fast half a day and drive one hr to go to the lab only to find that they put a wrong order in.
