This mall is racist and participates in racial profiling of young,black men who were shopping and eating yet escorted out of the mall because it was 4 of them. Security stated that groups are more likely to "cause fights". Why would they want to fight when they met up to eat and shop at your establishment? Answers are needed from Simon Management. We will not accept this type of treatment!!!
I spend a lot of money in this mall and so does my son. Today he and 3 friends were followed around the mall and told to leave because it was 4 of them. I am in that mall all of the time and see groups of more than 4 teenagers of other races. These 4 young men are all athletes, 1 on the debate team, choir etc... Just 4 young men hanging, shopping, and eating with friends. The harassment they experienced today was horrible.
What is going on with the kids play place?! It used to be a safe area for babies and toddlers and now is basically an open field where kids can easily and quickly escape their caregivers. I have two very quick 2 year olds. It’s basically impossible to watch both of them in the new play place because of the 3 huge openings into the play place, not to mention the “wall” of seats that isn’t really a barrier at all. The new play area is such a disappointment! Whoever designed this must not have kids. Why in the world would you have 3 entrances and exits to a play area made for kids under 5? It used to be a great place to come with our toddler to let her run around a play after we shopped, but now I will stay clear of that area of the mall so we don’t have to go in it. I just took my granddaughters to check out the new play area. I'm not too happy with the open concept, there are too many areas open to enter and exit, it just doesn't feel safe. I expressed that to one of the suits that was watching everyone and was told to "feel free not to use it". Seriously??
Not very family-friendly. Came here with my 3 y/o daughter to trick-or-treat on Halloween like I read on multiple websites. However, gear no stores were giving out candy. Talk to multiple people they said they did it on Saturday. Not very happy!
I am super disappointed. Battlefield mall advertised that they would be doing an event from 5 to 8 pm on Halloween. It was even advertised on the news. We dressed up our little one, it's her first Halloween, and we thought the mall would be perfect, so she could stay warm but still participate in the holiday. We got there and nothing was happening. Nothing but overpriced clothing stores and pushy kiosk salesmen. Bonus negative points for having Christmas decorations up before Halloween. Needs massive changes.
