Scott Carmichael from Battels True Value Hardware in Whittier came to our Woodworkers of Whittier meeting and talked about the recent changes at the store. Mr. Battel opened Battle's Hardware in 1943. Scott's father and grandfather bought it in 1958. There have been many changes in the past year with a new owner.
