Beware trusting these reviews. They appear to be about the former owners. I went for a cut for the first time and left looking like Lord Farqaad. I paid $75 for someone to ruin my hair and have to go get it fixed elsewhere. The stylist who fixed it told me it was extremely uneven, poorly framed, and there was still shampoo in my hair. The team at Batik Salon is simply the best! I always leave feeling like a million bucks and my hair exceeds my expectations every time. I am treated with respect and genuine care for how I’m doing. People like this will always get my business; because it goes way past a service a Batik Salon - it’s a whole experience!! They pour themselves into their work AND the people sitting in their chair. OVERPRICED, UNPROFESSIONAL, POMPOUS! Had been going to this salon for years. When they started to ask for a credit card on file and a $100 deposit for services, I stopped going. I do not leave my card on file anywhere. Then I came back to CT and decided to make an appt. Received a call 7 days before my appt from Audrey whom left me a rude message mistakenly accusing me of cancelling numerous appts and that she cancelled my appt bc she will not see me and to “have a nice life”.
