I have extensive experience with this outfit, which over the years has done dozens of refinishes for me. Their workmanship has gone from acceptable to terrible, their "warranty" is a joke and they are unreliable as to appointments etc.Carolina appear to run the business, all work and evaluation is done by "Rafael". Rafael never voluntarily acknowledges any responsibility for peeling finish, flaws etc. Recently he has taken to offering to do jobs "independently" and undercut his "employer" Carolina.Either way, both of them ar... read more

The Bathtub People have to be the worst tub repair company in Dade, they repaired the tub 3 years ago and I called in Nov 2010 to get it fixed, the owner Carolina said that the technician that did my job was not employed anymore with her so she would have to "figure something out". As if it was the consumers problem that a company lets go of a technician. The warranty does not state "as long as the same technician is working". Finally I get frustrated and call sometime in December, no answer. She finally answers in January a... read more

The woman who schedules the appointments is very nice. Unfortunately, I had to call them back to do another coat because I could still see a hint of the old blue tub color on the inside bottom of the tub between what looked like spray stroke marks. The next coat was very rough when finished because the technician did not adequately remove the sanding dust when he added the next coat. I would not recommend them as far as the actual quality of job, however their customer service was ok and somewhat responsive.

Poor workmanship! My bathtub chipped one year after the Bathtub People fixed it, even though I cared for it according to their instructions. Manager lady avoided my phone calls repeatedly. Did not honor their warranty. Very frustrating that they try to blame the customer for a job poorly done. Thinking of reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

Very disappointed. The refinished tub is not smooth at all and the technician got overspray on walls and fixtures. Terrible follow-through on fixing the problem. Still waiting for someone to make it right. NICE lady but the subcontractor she uses leaves a whole lot to be desired. Used Home Solutions for another tub. Wish I had used them to begin with.
