Dr. B is FABULOUS. I was seeing a different gastroenterologist years ago who was only interested in having you participate in studies and clearly he was getting paid for it while I had an Ulcerative Colitis flare for months and months with probably no care. I went to Dr. B and she cleared up my flare very quickly. I've been seeing her for years and years and she is always very responsive and caring and gets me healed up quickly as long as I follow her instructions.
She has done 2 colonoscopies and two endoscopies for me. She was willing to allow me to get all 4 tests done without any sedation or anesthesia at all and all went perfectly.
BEWARE OF MEDICAL MALPRACTICE HERE! Dr Katrina Bassel neglected my health, and failed to report to me a very serious diagnosis. Leading to over 7+ years of no treatment. Dr Katrina Bassel removed THE WRONG ORGAN, and LEFT ME with a DEAD GALLBLADDER. (Was hospitalized for gallbladder issues, was confirmed by Dr Bassel it was my gallbladder. She said my gallbladder would be removed on my 7th day of my hospitalization. Very knowledgeable, professional & to the point. She did my colonoscopy & all was well. A few polyps so see her again in 3 years, unless something happens before.
Dr. Bassel was very caring and had wonderful bedside as well as knowledgeable and informative. I did not have any scheduling problems or issues.
