As far as Basque restaurants go this doesn't hold a candle to any I've been to before. The "set-up" was not tasty at all. I knew better than to order the deep fried quail but did it anyway. It was dry and flavorless. The accompanying rice was from a box. The green beans in the set-up were canned. We diverted from I-5 on a whim because being Basque I'm always looking for Basque restaurants. I was really disappointed.
The food here is absolutely fantastic. Stu and the whole staff are extremely nice and the service is always great. This is one of the best restaurants in the entire nation.
Not for every-day dining, but a great place to celebrate any special occasion. Even though the title includes "steakhouse", they have plenty of other offerings, including tapas. Family style dining, at its best! Always tasty and top quality food.
