I have been seeing Dr. Basile for over 25 years continuing to follow bladder cancer treatment which was successful. I find him to be engaging, highly qualified and easy to discuss sensitive issues. He's the best!
Total waste of time. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable in a doctors office than I was with Dr Basile. He made me feel like I was wasting his time after he made me wait for almost 30 minutes. I don’t normally leave reviews like this but Dr Basile is a terrible person.
Would not recommend Dr Basile to anyone! Never answers questions just likes to keep you coming to see him, for more money. "will address that next visit" and you keep making appointments and he says the same thing again never answering questions!
I had a vasectomy with Dr. Basile last week. He was professional and did an excellent job. You are in good hands.

During the appointment I was told that most insurance companies do not cover Reversal procedures, but I had done the research and told them mine did (and it does). After being asked to confirm this, I was told that they had just applied to be removed from the insurance companies coverage and I would not be able use their service under my insurance. I feel this was a blatant move to deny us their services covered by our insurance and I am disappointed in my wasted time with them.
As a new patient calling to schedule an appointment, I was surprised to hear the receptionist raise her voice with me when I asked for any appointment after 3pm. The respectful response would have been, "while our policy is not to schedule new pt consults after 2:45, if you bring the new pt forms filled out, we can schedule you for 3pm."
Dr. Basile is very knowledgeable and takes the necessary time to listen to your concerns and understand the issues you are having. After the examination, he provides a thorough explanation of what he has found or believes the problem to be while also providing corrective measures. He is highly recommended.
