Knowledge and Thoroughness I am more than delighted with the new kitchen and bathroom installed by Basic Builders. They know their business well and it shows. They did a great job with the design, selection of materials, and high-end craftsmanship installation job. I recommend this firm without hesitation.
Cost effective builders Basic Builders is an insured company based in New Jersey and services New York City. Those are pretty much the most appealing characteristics of this company. The prices are good and in the end the job is OK but watch out for the owner's sarcastic remarks and sense of humor.
professionalism, care and reliability As an architect, I've worked with many contractors over the years, and many kitchen contractors. None has ever come close to the professionalism, care and reliability of Peter and Lissa Welles of Basic Builders. They have now installed kitchens for seven of our friends, family members and clients. They have installed 3 kitchens for me personally. There is no one I could recommend more highly!!!!!!!!
by far my best experience We recently had some additions made to our kitchen by basic builders. We wanted the suspended cabinets as seen in the photos, coupled with some white cabinets. Our experience working with Peter was excellent. He understood immediately what we wanted and worked out a solution that was both cost effective and aesthetically pleasing.
