Had a great time kayaking on Swan River. Mark makes it easy to rent kayaks and he and his wife are super nice. I would definitely recommend them.

My son and I did the overnight Dog Sledding camp trip with Mark of Base Camp Big Fork and was overwhelmed by the professionalism and attention to detail! Mark and his team of Inuit Sled Dogs will not disappoint. These dogs are something to experience! I would suggest anyone interested in experiencing and learning about local geography coupled with this centuries old method transportation, hunting, and trade to contact Mark. This is a serious adventure!

What a great experience. Had never done this before, was not sure what to expect. Mark pays great attention to detail, every little thing is taken care of for you. All you have to do is have fun. If you are in Bigfork or Whitefish area this is the only place you want to go dog sledding. This guy knows his stuff. What a great time we had!!!!!!!!

Best experience ever! We spent the day with Mark and seven of his Inuit dogs. The trip took us through the hills of Swan Valley with picturesque views of snow capped mountains. Base Camp Bigfork is a boutique business based on quality not quantity. Base Camp has 18 Inuit dogs who are impeccably cared for by Mark (owner) who also guides the trips. Mark is a master musher and his dogs are beautifully trained. We'll definitely be back!

Wow - just wow! We were towards the end of the season and while we couldn't take the trails because of the conditions, we had a blast with the dogs, mushing through the snow covered road and on Swan Lake. Mark is an awesome guide, knowledgeable and he takes GREAT pictures with both our camera and his. This is a MUST DO if in the area in winter. Really you won't regret it.

What an amazing full day spending time mushing Inuit sled dogs around the MT backcountry & having lunch under the bluebird winter sky with happy furbabies nearby. Bucket list check. Knew this would be an amazing experience, but far exceeded our expectations! The history & information of the Inuit dogs, mushing & local area Mark shared with us was top notch. He goes the extra mile to make your trip fantastic!! Wish we could give them 10 stars. Thanks Mark! Mike & Nikki.

Mark and his dogs were fantastic. Mark is an amazing dog handler and athlete. The Inuit dogs are a rare breed that you will likely not see on another trip - these are true sled dogs. We had an actual hands on sled dogging experience. This was hands down the best part of my winter trip to the Flathead Valley. I cannot say enough good things.
