This is the worth emergency room in all usa , only one doctor and a lot of patients with big pain, waiting more than 4 hours, this is unbelievable, you are working with humans, with illness persons . We are not here to make a party. We need to be attended on a regular time . You have to be better. I don't recommend this emergency room to nobody.
As others have said they have poor communication, poor follow up ,poor attitude... I don't know what they were but they are a dysfunctional institution. I in courage anyone injured by this place to file a complaint with the Joint Commission
Cataract surgery post operative review I am a 84 years old lady who lost a right eye due to a stroke 10 years ago. I was diagnosed with glaucoma. For the last year my vision deteriorated to the point of being completely blind. I live alone with no relatives .No surgeon took the risk to operate my left eye.I was very physical and emotionally drained. My only solution to arrange transportation to Miami Emergency Room. From the front desk to every crew of the hospital never left my alone. Always they told me WE ARE ... read more
Excellent service!!! Thanks to Dr Allister Gibbons and Dr. Jesse Senguillo for performing A very difficult cataract surgery No other surgeons in Palm Beach Gardens risked to treat me. I was very lucky to meet these very professionals physicians. Very positive attitude. Very caring. The recovery time fast and efficient Thank you Bascom Palmer Eye Institute /emergency room/ Teresa C de Boyes December 17 2021
Although I'm sure Dr. Smiddy did his best during the surgery,it left my eye with permenant injury disfigurement and a painful blind eye. Dr. Smiddy's follow up care was shameful at best, beside sweeping me under the rug he would not say a word to my question including one where I asked him if I should keep using a medication that he prescripted to me. Also Bascon Palmer's lack of response to my email about all of this has been just as shameful.
My husband went to palmer institute in Palm beach gardens, drove 2 hours to get there, waited 2 months for the appt, to see a doctor who basically shook his head at him had an attitude re: his lens that was put in by another doctor in florida. My husband has severe light issues, and cannot carry out his functions of daily living ! if you call staying inside out of the light all day, no tv, computer viewing no sunshine, well, ever since he got an expensive iol put in. 6 months now and the doctor there, said NOTHING! so the gr... read more
The worse patient attention drs maybe good but seems that the nurses and assistants could care less. It’s past 3 hours and not even a word from them to tell that the dr is late.
Went to Bascom Palmer for the second time. The wait is always long 4 to 5 hours even with appointment. Most of the front desk staff is courteous except this lady named Angela Salazar. The moment you see her you can tell she is high strung and anxious behavior at a hospital does not work. Rude to the point patients were mad. She told a man that if he didn't have insurance he was wasting his time getting surgery. The man said " I will Pay out of pocket" this was none of her business. For 3 hours I had to watch her treat peopl... read more
