They “Bartram Park Animal Hospital”, sent us home with nothing to easy my Sassy Girls hard breathing, after telling me she had an enlarged heart. I was told she needed an electrocardiogram another 360 after spending that amount already. Today I went to NMHP and we received medication to easy her excitement to keep her comfortable and already she seems calmer but not sleeping. Her heart is not going to shrink, I get that. Unfortunately, my pet’s experience here was not good. Much to my dismay, they charged me an arm & a leg, when my kitty was doing very poorly & I didn’t think she would make it. Didn’t even take her vitals, fecal & urinalysis, right up front, within her first day-care day there. Upon third day of IVs, I started asking questions...they finally did fecal & urinalysis & found she had a severe UTI & cystitis. Sold me even more DRY & wet food & “showed” me how to force feed her. I took my senior cat, Lex, in for an infection and the professionals at BPAH were so caring and listened to my concerns. Lex felt safe and I was comfortable. Lex and I will be back!
