J*ney spent about 5 minutes arguing with me about how she didn’t want to call the doctor to get the order for the blood draw (which she insisted was required per Barton policy, despite us having documentation and test kits in hand). Then she had a tantrum saying “I’m done” and put her colleague on the phone. Typical Barton entitled behavior

What they charge for labs here is incredulous and egregious. One United Healthcare Rep I spoke to said their rates were "the highest I've ever seen." My story - I went in for my annual physical, which is covered by my insurance. The doctor told me to get some some baseline labs as part of the annual check up, and to do it here at Barton Labs. Do NOT go to this Lab if you're not a patient in the hospital. They billed my insurance nearly $10,000 for my annual routine labs and I received a bill for $2,400 (deductible payment). The lady at the billing said, we're in a hospital so we charge more. Ok, why didn't someone say something when I called to check if the lab was in my network and schedule appt for my annual labs?
