Dr Mitchell operated on me for a discectomy in August of 2018. I will give him credit for removing the herniation and eliminating the burning pain in my leg but that’s where anything positive ended. I went home the day of surgery crippled, my right foot felt like I was walking on electrified golf balls, my outer 3 toes were and still are completely numb and the back of my heel fells like it has a very bad burn. Dr. MITCHELL is an outstanding neurosurgeon. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He saved our son's life. He kept our family informed and was kind, caring, answered our questions, and treated our son and family with dignity. His nurse practioner and office staff were amazing. Office wait time was minimal. He is brilliant and I highly recommend him for any neuro vascular surgery.
My wife had surgery April 2019. She has continual pain since. Dr Michell and a sidekick Dr. Stone both performed admirably for Medicare but neither office has shown any interest in assisting with post op needs. BE ADVISED.. the office boss is Valerie.. rude, uninterested and seemingly inept. I presume both surgeons are knowledgeable but neither will acknowledge their patient needs help. Beware
I would happily refer any of my family or friends to Dr Mitchell!

This Dr is not highly experience and have a no clue how to treat the patient. He don't take a time, don't communicate to patient and strategy is to make patient keep coming back and make him rich. Personally I felt like how he became a doctor and who gave a degree to do the practice.

Dr. Mitchell's skilled hands, extremely caring spirit, and wonderful staff was used to restore the health to my 97 year old father. My dad had been the picture of health until several pinched nerves in his spine almost completely debilitated him. He was in excruciating pain. Today he is back walking like a champ and bringing life to all around him. What a gift! We could not be more grateful to God and to Dr. Mitchell and his staff. You can't go wrong letting them care for your loved ones.
