I am a CrossFit girlie and tried Barry’s only recently. I have been HOOKED ever since my first class! Truly kicks your butt and would encourage anyone to try. I’ve only had positive experiences with all the Barry’s instructors in DC. Special shout out to Jorge who, despite fire alarms blaring halfway through the class, improvised and had us continue the work out outside (definitely a confusing sight for passersby) because the show must go on! I have a military background, so I've always liked group workouts where people push each other. Barry's Navy Yard has that same kind of energy. I've taken Nazinga's Run x Lift: Full Body Lower Focus class four times now, and it's always a great workout. I'm more built for lifting -- 5'10", around 215 -- so cardio is not usually my thing, but Barry's mixes it in really well. Nazinga brings great energy and keeps you motivated. Excited to have a Barry's location closer to home after going to the Dupont studio. While the new space is more intimate than Dupont, they've maximized it effectively. Being in their soft opening phase, they're actively fine-tuning the experience. The workout quality remains high, with standout instructors like Nazinga and Chris delivering challenging, energetic classes. Nazinga and Raine are the best trainers! Also Jayson, one of the managers, is amazing as well.
Absolutely phenomenal customer service from Jayson and an amazing first experience and great instruction from Jorge. Will be coming back because of them two.
