Very pleased with this honest, down-to-earth, knowledgeable mechanic. I brought my 2003 VW Passat and 1997 Toyota Camry to Barry and was very pleased at his expert knowledge and Volkswagen OEM equipment & parts, but especially, his reasonable prices. I saved about 30% versus going to the dealer and got more personalized service. Only negatives are: 1) Not open on weekends, 2) Kind of hard to find (he's behind another business).
Great mechanic for real people Excellent small mechanic for VW of all years. Was able to do 3 repairs to my 99 Passat for the same price the stealership quoted TO DO ONE! Not a big shop (no waiting area, no free coffee, no plasma TVs or sexy receptionists). Seems that only 1 or 2 guys are about all the staff (and a couple cats).
