I had a horrible experience - he has terrible people skills and then when I complained that one of my new crowns felt infected, he insisted it wasn't and after another week had me come in and then acknowledged the infection but told me it was my fault because i hadn't bitten down hard enough when he inserted the new crown. Some of the work was very good but the constant scolding and attitude of arrogance was off-putting and unprofessional.
I have been a patient of Dr. Nestlerode for years... I have referred family and friends to go see him because I truly thought he was one of the best. He was the first and ONLY dentist that made me feel comfortable and was considerate of my dental anxiety. Today his receptionist decided to call and let me know they would recommend I go elsewhere for my dental work due to me being a “difficult” patient and the “dental laws changing” with prescribing medication for dental procedures. I needed a root canal, he did a really excellent job, recommending him to my neighbor that needs root canals done.
Dr. Nestlerode went out of his way to provide me excellent care during a dental emergency at a reasonable cost to me. He was a very good Dentist and he and his staff provided great service & made it the best possible experience given the circumstances. Highly recommend this office!

Dr. Nestlerode is a superb dentist. He and his staff at Scottsdale Affordable Dentistry provide great services. They are helpful and friendly. Dr. Nestlerode is understanding and took the time to ensure I was given details about the procedures for my crowns.
A tooth began hurting, and I did not have a dentist here in Scottsdale. I found Dr. Nestlerode's practice online, and made an appointment to visit. Wow! Within a short time I was in the dental chair and examined. Per my thoughts beforehand, a crown was recommended. No new appointment needed! The tooth was repaired on the spot and a temporary crown installed. Yesterday I received the permanent crown. Not only was the work VERY reasonably priced, but the office staff is so friendly and kind.
