VERY RUDE in visits and after 2ND operation ...would not acknowledge wrong doing on my Mom's Cateract 2nd eye operation.. even though, as it was to happen, she said things felt different than first EYE a few weeks .he continued anyway. Told her to be wuiet anf lie still. She felt pain. A result in blindness of that eye. Anesthesia was not right.. When questioned about it all later, He responded "Who will they believe me? or an older woman under anesthesia? We never followed through with a case.. Mom didn't want more stress. ... read more
I have been using Dr Haight for nearly 10 years now and is a fantastic doctor. Dr Haight has always taken his time with me on eye exams, explained any questions or concerns I may have, and is very knowledgeable and resourceful on my conditions. His staff have always been very prompt and efficient in getting me scheduled/checked-in/checked-out. I see Dr Haight every two years for an exam and we always talked Red Sox (GO SOX!) baseball after the exam is complete. Thank you Dr Haight!
Dr. Haight is the nastiest, most hateful doctor I have ever seen in my life. Had an emergency room visit over the weekend-followed up with Dr. Haight as a new patient. He was rude, impatient and made assumptions before examining me. I walked out. I had a reaction to pain medication while in his office. He stood in doorway, yelled at me, told me to clean up and kept asking questions as I was vomiting in a can with a liner. His staff assumed I had a virus and refused to help as well. WORST!
Staff is great. Dr. Haight is another story. He did cataract surgery on me and left part of the old lens in the eye and had to reoperate to remove it. After the second surgery I could see but still needed glasses. When I told him that, he got mad and told me not to come back. He left the room in a huff. No problem. I haven't been back to him.
