Barry has been my dentist for 20 years. He has given me routine dental care and set of eight very nice veneers. He is a fantastic, easy-going guy, and he is totally committed to his profession and to good customer service. What more can I say? John I., Reston, Virginia.
Dr. Laurent is a very kind dentist and listens carefully to any and all pains and discomfort. His hygienist staff is fantastic - they're not just about doing their job, they genuinely seem to care about you as a person. Carol at the front desk seems to remember everyone that comes into the office. I referred someone to their office recently and Dr. Laurent's office sent me a hand-written personal thank you card, telling me that my referral was the highest compliment I could give. The office staff is friendly. There is an emphasis on preventive education, as well fixing existing problems. The procedures are well described in advance of treatment and the work is thorough. Billing is done, usually after insurance claims are settled. The price is explained before service is rendered. Pain is minimal. The staff is well versed in insurance issues. Dr. Laurant himself is friendly and knowledgable. I have had fillings, crowns and root canals with few problems.
The office staff is very pleasant. I am always seen on time and Dr. Laurent is good about explaining the procedures he is performing.

i have what i call dentist phobia, i have not been to a dentist in 17 years due to childhood memories. What prompt me to go this time was that my tooth aches were more frequent, Dr. Barry went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and ease my tooth ache, he saw tension in me. I live about 40 miles away but welcome the drive for dentist that i feel comfortable with.
I am so pleased with the professionalism of this office. It was refreshing to have my treatment explained to me - I felt like I was a VIP and it occured to me the entire staff treats every patient - young and old- with incredible consideration, gentleness, and respect. Highly recommended!
