When I was editor-in-chief of the University paper next door, I wrote a raving review of this place. Gilbert de Hoyos is a wonderful person, and that - and the good coffee, food, and atmosphere, make this place a go-to if you're on Culebra.
I loved the atmosphere. Great environment and the food was delicious. I went last Wednesday for the first time and returned that very Sunday. The Coco Loco was delish! The tomato basil soup is light and not super thick... JUST RIGHT. And the grill cheese � with avocado � with added onions � But the best part was meeting the owner, his personality reminded me of Jaime Escalante. ¡Orale!
The staff was great and the food was amazing! I definitely recommend this place to everyone.
