Our Maggie girl, a Golden had constant ear infections. Dr. John Pletz cleaned them, gave us his ear medication that is his own mix, and she has been without these painful infections. She might get the beginning of one, but we clean her ears, give her the medicine, and she's well. We spent hundreds of dollars with other vets, but Dr. Pletz in our first visit had the problem solved. We keep a bottle of his ear medicine on hand, just in case...Besides, he's just a really good man who loves dogs and other animals... glad Maggie ... read more
Dr Lynn Pullen Meyer has been our trusted and nurturing veterinarian for our dear cat Chow Chow for the last three years. She saved her life through cancer surgery two years ago and gave us several more years with her as a bounding healthy companion! And today she will help her "over the rainbow" after Chow has become completely blind and terminal at 16+ years old. A very sad day but a thankful day. Barrett Station has always been there for my pets when I've needed them. Recently, I took my dog in and got the worst news you could get as a dog lover. I had to make a difficult decision quickly. The staff was so great to me during all of this. They were professional and very compassionate towards my situation. Dr. Knight went above and beyond what I could have asked for. She was caring and patient. My dog was a very shy girl but she really liked Dr. Knight! Thank you to the team at Barrett Station.
Thanks to Barrett Station Veterinary Clinic for once again taking fantastic care of our boy, Omar. Although he's not always a stellar patient, your techs and vets are always so great with him and with us. We appreciate the time you take, the ease of making an unexpected appointment when needed, the superior quality of care, and the courtesy and kindness of everyone on staff.
I've used Barrett Station for over 20 yrs, when Dr Gilgy (Truss) was in a small 1office building on the corner of Barrett Station & Manchester. Followed her thru her now 3rd building as she grew. That says a lot about her practice & its growth. Don't think I've ever had bad service with any one on staff, from front desk to the techs to the vets she's hired.
