Appointment at 1:15, we arrived at 12:30 because they ALWAYS take forever. We were eventually seen at 2:00! If you are coming in to get services, expect to earn them apparently. You will have to wait around watching everyone else but you get helped wondering what you did wrong. They either need to hire more people which may be difficult due to budgets, OR, streamline the system. It CAN be done. We have seen it in other states…
Not a good experience at all and I will not go back. I will forfeit the benefits and save the hassle for another day. Appointment was at 10 am and did not leave until 12:30. Chased my toddler around for 2 and a half hours in the waiting room. The place was crowded when we got there and we were the last to leave. Why do I have to be called back 3 separate times? I just want to let you know that Dawn at the front counter in the wic department is friendly, and does a wonderful job. Anytime I call and have to leave a message. She calls back might not be right away. But is in the same day. When I come in for my appointment she constantly on the phone helping others. The front desk gets extremely busy. They need to get another person up there to help at the front desk. There is an older lady at the front but it seems like all she does is be on her cell phone. this is for don or dawn, learn how to answer the phone! goes straight to voicemail EVERY SINGLE TIME! NO MATTER THE TIME OF DAY! and she will never call back! do your job! got these babies going without benefits because you don’t want to answer the phone? shame on you!
