it works! – I love, love, love barre3 - and I do live in the Pearl, but am not a mom, I usually go to the 6am class and get in my workout before work which is awesome. The instructors are great and I like that the routines are slightly different every time. I am definitely seeing results. My only "complaint" is that it's not exactly affordable, but in lieu of a gym membership/personal trainer, it's worth it!
This place changed my life! – I first heard about Barre 3 from one of my friends who is an instructor at the studio. She encouraged me to take classes, and see how I liked the format, perhaps one day to become an instructor myself. A better me – It was love at first class for me and barre3. I first stepped foot into the Pearl location just a few months after it opened and I have been a dedicated follower ever since. Why? 1. It's the most effective 60 minute work out I have ever done (and my list is long) 2. A Better Me! – An unbelievable workout at any fitness level, coupled with a mind, body, spirit boost! Each class follows a specific sequence format, with different nuances each session, so no class is exactly the same. Wish I had a studio where I live – I was visiting my sister for a week and I went twice. I have always been a very strong athlete but this class really attacked my weaknesses. I don't want to stop and wish I could find a studio in upstate NY. I could really feel the firming and toning in just 2 classes! Wow...any chance you could open a studio here??
Great targeted body-shaping workout, with friendly staff! – Barre 3 is the perfect balance between firming and elongating your muscles. I did a lot of yoga before trying Barre 3 and was beginning to feel tight and more restricted. Once I started doing Barre 3, I noticed a difference in about a month. Refreshing, challenging and friendly - great for Portland – I don't get to Barre3 much, but I attend a class whenever I'm in town. It's a modern and clean venue, in a great neighborhood across from one of Portland's little treasure parks in the Pearl. The classes combine aspects of different schools of stretching and posing, resulting in a refreshing (and tough) program. I like the online sign up, which makes things really easy for me being on the go. I hope to see some more of these turn up on other locations someday!
