Pleasant Experience – Just moved into my apartment. Despite the other reviews on here, my apartment was exceptionally cleaned. Everything so far has worked as it should. Even after moving in, a maintenance worker asked me if everything was okay with the new apartment and if there was something he could do. I have lived with Barr in the past and I also had a pleasant experience. After living in Campaign-Urbana on/near campus with many companies. Barr's service is much better than most.

I Recommend Them – So this morning two maintenance guys from Barr came to my apartment, and they put a new fridge and a set of new blinds to our apartment. The maintenance guys are very experienced, and they are very hard workers. I am also very pleased with the fact that they took off their shoes as they entered the apartment, I just want to say thank you to Barr Real Estate Inc. again. Barr Real Estate Inc. is a very good company. I would recommend you to rent apartment from Barr Real Estate Inc.

I have lived in Fairlawn Village (one-bedroom duplex) for a year and a half. The maintenaince problems I´ve had here have been promptly fixed by courteous staff.

Say Yes – Also, the place really did get an upgrade. It looks gorgeous now! They even landscaped the apartment, and I am proud to say I live in the complex- it looks so vogue. The maintenance staff has been EXCELLENT throughout my stay, fixing things as minor as a missing tile on my bathroom wall, giving me nice new wooden floors (so much easier to clean, too!), and even coming over after hours to give me a temporary heater when I got home at 6pm to discover my heat was faulty, and made sure that a repair man would come ASAP... read more

AMAZING PLACE – There was a time when my life was in turmoil and I was unexpectedly in a need of a place to live. I was looking at different apartments and duplexes (for an amount I could afford) and I was left feeling hopeless. Positive Experience – The Georgian is in the heart of campus near the corner of sixth and armory. The rent is cheap for anywhere on campus but especially for this location. The premises were kept nice and it is a fun old building to live in. Whenever there were maintanence issues they were fixed quickly and with no hassle. The office people were courteous and helpful. All around very positive experience with Barr Real Estate and with the apartment!

Good Experience – I haven't had a bad experience with Barr. I've lived at 2 of their locations - 807 W. Illinois & 205 E. Healey. They've always responded to my maintence requests within 48-72 hours. Their handyman Rick has been particularly helpful. Additionally, their Barr-to-Barr move policy is really helpful. If you are moving from a Barr apartment to a different Barr apartment they allow you to stay in your old apartment until your new one is ready, rather than making you homeless for a week or two like the other landlo... read more

I recommend this place – I have lived here for a while now and I have no complaints. The management is always nice when ever I have seen them around and they are also very quick to fix anything that has needed fixing. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Impressive – I've lived with Barr in the same apartment at 105 E Green for 2 years now. They have been very quick to fix any problems that I call about. They have always been friendly any time that I've interacted with them. Their maintenance people are the greatest. All really nice guys willing to help all they can. One time I even called at midnight with a backed up shower, and they sent someone right over. Seriously awesome! I will miss Barr and hope that wherever I end up next, I will find an equally impressive landlord.
