This is a chain that is NOT local....don't go here. Go to Durango Winery that is just a few blocks further on main Street
Had an amazing experience. The wines are wonderful but the highlight was the care we received from Ocea. She made our experience so much fun and taught us so much about their wines. Go and ask for Ocea!!
We picked up a beautiful brochure at the train station. Advertising they open at 2pm Thursday 10/17 at 2:20. We walked in and were greeted with “we aren’t open yet!” I handed her the brochure and she said those are outdated and laughed and said but they sure bring the people in. Booted us out back into the rain. I know they have many tasting rooms across the country but absolutely NO customer service!!! We belong to several wineries. This is not the norm. This was our second time going To Barron Creek Vineyard for a wine tasting and celebration. The first time was absolutely terrific. However, the second time we went to celebrate a birthday we had the worst service with no explanation about the wines, and a server who did not recognize when we needed our glasses filled, and then when she did fill them, they were fairly a taste compared to what we’ve experienced in the past, which was highly disappointing for the price of the tasting.
