This was our second time going To Barron Creek Vineyard for a wine tasting and celebration. The first time was absolutely terrific. However, the second time we went to celebrate a birthday we had the worst service with no explanation about the wines, and a server who did not recognize when we needed our glasses filled, and then when she did fill them, they were fairly a taste compared to what we’ve experienced in the past, which was highly disappointing for the price of the tasting. We absolutely adored the tasting room in Durango! Sarah and Jess were the best hosts and so knowledgeable about the wines! We will return.
Wife and I stopped in. We were greeted professionally by staff and immediately they got a table for us and asked if we had any questions. We took a look over the menu and decided on the wine tasting flight. Each wine poured generously and explained with detail. We will definitely be coming back here for more.
This review is a bit overdue, but I wanted to make sure I shared our experience because it was truly amazing. We weren’t quite sure what to expect when we walked in, especially with our three kids and parents. There was a formal party going on, and we initially wondered whether our larger group might feel out of place. Those concerns disappeared immediately.
