Never Go There Did not eat there, signs all over the place indicating they only want to serve folks who are dressed up in their Sunday best. Rude servers.
Nice The steaks are okay, but the salad bar is divine. Add some of the spreadable cheese, saucy meat balls, and clam chowder and you have yourself a nice meal.
Good food and fair price I remember going here as a child, 25 years ago. It is still a great place, good salad and entrees. Prices are fair and good atmosphere for a date or a group.
Way overpriced and poor service that's been my experience when the B&B in kinston nc. food is decent but not nearly worth the price. When I talked to the owner about the poor service I was told that I had no right to complain and when I said I wouldnt be back she laughed and said she doubted that would make them go out of business. Who does that?
Just Okay We drove all the way from New Bern and it was just "okay." I wouldn't make the drive again because it was nothing special.
Great Restaurant!! I really don't understand these negative comments. I have eaten there many times over the years and always find the food delicious and the service very good. The employees have always been courteous and attentive. The fantastic salad bar is always well stocked with fresh items. I live in New Bern, which has many very nice restaurants, but I consider it well worth the drive to visit the Baron & the Beef.
