I’m just off an incredibly informative and generous phone call with Holly Werkema. She was actually calling me with news that she knew would disappoint me. But, I left that call having more insight to my case and its potential than I did going in. I was struck by her analysis of the landscape, her simplification of the intricacies for my benefit and her graciousness. I left the call hoping I get a chance to work with her again. Reminiscent of a time when lawyers had real empathy for clients.
