The company showed up as scheduled and only took just over an hour to perform the cleaning. The crew was professional and curtious. The process they used did not involve any extraction, but instead used the application of cleaning solution in combination with use of a rotating brush to supposedly remove the loosened dirt. In talking to the crew, they said this process relied on very little water and so the carpet should be dry in no more than a couple hours. Barney arrived on time and got right to work. I believe he pre-spotted some areas (I wasn't actually watching him work) and moved some items that were too heavy for me to move or lift. He asked me if I wanted him to do the master bedroom closet (which is the size of a small room) and I said yes. At the time there was no discussion of an additional charge.
