We live in Ireland. In 2009 my husband collapsed. He was eventually diagnosed with Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy. After diagnosis I was getting no info from consultant. I googled looking for info and found Dr Stern ....he was wonderful and to this day I thank finding him. Maybe I'll meet him some day & thank him in person. Such kindness.
Dr stern was careful and methodical in his evaluation. Explained his findings clearly and convincingly.
Our first appointment with Dr Stern was about 2 hours long. He reviewed patient history, and did a complete round of his own physical and cognitive tests (many we have done before - and a few we had not had yet). He then explained what he saw during the exam and answered all our questions. He came up with a plan for home safety and a medical plan. We have been seeing him for regular check ups. This man wasted my time. Never ran any test on me or told me information on what could be wrong. Rude and overrated. Missed my appt because my brain fog had me confused, i ended up at the wrong location. His rude secretary sent me a message from him saying he doesnt want to see you again. Thank god for that. I known see an excellent neurologist whos doing a mri and mra and treating my "possible vestibular migraines". He needs to retire, people need help and he sends them to psych. 🤔
