My experience with Dr. Gibbs was excellent. He listens and lets me take my time with questions. He explains everything well.
I highly recommend Dr. Barnett Gibbs, he takes the time to listen to you, comfort you if you are scared, orders tests to determine what is going on and then personally calls you with the results. In my eyes that makes an outstanding and caring doctor.
He is a great doctor. Very thorough and caring. Just what we needed. My husband has Alzheimer’s and he connected good with him. My husband respects him and Dr. Gibbs gives him hope. It is a wonderful relationship. As a care taker, I appreciate Dr. Gibbs and the way he treats Ralph. Always a nice visit and Ralph looks forward to seeing him.

Very positive experience. Dr. Gibbs is caring, approachable and personable. He answered many of my questions before I could ask them. It seemed important to him that I fully understood the hows and whys of what was going on. He even drew pictures to help me get the more complicated scenarios. I never felt rushed and I left feeling much more informed. There is no question that I would choose to go back if the need were to present itself. And I made the trip from South Carolina.
I was pleasantly greeted at the front desk. After a brief wait, Dr Gibbs nurse greeted and remembered me from 15 months ago. Always a good feeling to be remembered. After my EKG, Dr Gibbs arrived with that enjoyable smile and firm handshake. He listened to me and completed a through evaluation. He is the kind of physician that everyone wants. I highly recommend him!!
My recent visit with Dr.Gibbs was pleasant and informative. I had questions and he provide understandable answers. The time was not rushed I never felt pushed for time or cut short in answering. It is always a meeting I look forward to.
Great first initial visit! Dr. Gibbs listened to my history, asked relevant questions and overall treated my like an intelligent adult capable of participating in decisions about my own healthcare. So refreshing! The whole office staff a the forest Ave office was professional and friendly. Will definitely be recommending Dr. Gibbs and the Henrico Cardiology practice to friends.
Dr. Gibbs is personable and a good listener. I feel very confident that I'm receiving excellent care under his supervision.
