Wow -- the staff here was great for my husband's knee replacement surgery. The pre-op and surgical people, Beckie and Alison, were great! Everyone on the floor: Joanne, Ping, Beth in OT and Colleen & Elissa in PT -- were awesome. So friendly, so helpful. I'd definitely recommend Barnes-Jewish West for any surgery.
As if right now i can only like it. Havent been an inpatient yet. But so far what i've had done test wise & to see the dr, i am very pleased.

My daughter and I arrived at 2 pm for a MRI directed by a BJC doctor. Sat in general waiting room until 5:30. Then moved to an ER room and waited another 3 hours only to have the technician come and start preparing for a CT scan. When told it was suppose to be an MRI he left and we waited another hour. After inquiring a nurse on when the MRI was scheduled she sent someone to check on it. It's now 9 pm and a technician comes in with the MRI prep. One hour later at 10 pm she is taken for the MRI.
